Children of Wrath by T. A. Ward Book Review

I thoroughly enjoyed the concept of this book, recently I’ve been really thriving for more thriller/apocalyptic/virus stories and thought this story was quite refreshing to other virus type ones I’ve read.

I really liked T. A. Ward’s writing throughout the book as well and was intrigued where the story was heading. Ward’s writing was very descriptive and helped set the scenes I conjured up through my imagination. There are quite a few gory parts in this book, but come on, what do you expect – it’s a frickin’ thriller story!

I thought that her characters weren’t as developed as they could have been, however I did have a soft spot for Dr Ethan King and Liz and desperately wanted the best things for them due to the saddening reality that they are unable to have children. This story had me from the very first page and I found it difficult to put the book down as I wanted to know what was going to happen after every event that occurred.

I love that the main concept of this book is unconditional love. Unconditional love is such a beautiful, real thing and I think it was a fantastic main focus that the author chose to write about.

I don’t want to give too much of this story away as I think it’s definitely one you should go into with just the book description in mind. I look forward to reading more material from T. A. Ward!

I would definitely recommend this book to fans of apocalyptic and thriller stories.
