Kingdom of Ash and Soot (The Order of the Crystal Daggers, #1) by C. S. Johnson Book Review

Book Description (via Goodreads): “I want to be free.” The words came rushing out of me before I could think through their implications and consequences. “There are two things you need to know about yourself if you want to be free-what you stand for, and what you stand against.” Lady Penelope held up her hands, brandishing a pair of daggers that had been hidden in her skirts.

November Wrap Up

I have been contemplating over the past ten minutes whether I should do a November Wrap Up post or not and finally have decided…. better late than never!

I have been off my book game since the beginning of November and all I can bring it down to is the Christmas period where work events and other social events take place, trying to get ready for the Christmas holidays has taken my mind elsewhere from reading. I’ve managed to finally finish the book I started mid-November today whilst I’m on holiday in Prague.

I completed two books in the month of November, which were:

  • Cliché by Ryleigh Sloan, I gave this book four out of five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you would like to check out my book review for this book, click here.
  • Breaking Eselda by Tabatha Shipley, I gave this book four out of five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you would like to check out my book review for this book, click here.

I really enjoyed both of the books I completed in the month of November and can’t wait to read more books by those authors!

The book that I started in mid-November was Kingdom of Ash and Soot by C. S. Johnson. I have finally finished it today, a book review will be up this week and also this book will be mentioned in my December Wrap Up which will be posted in the new year!!

I hope you guys have managed to have a better reading month than I have and hope you all have a very Merry Christmas!! 🎄

Happy reading,
