So, This Is Christmas by Tracy Andreen Book Review

Book Description (via Goodreads): When Finley Brown returned to her hometown of Christmas, Oklahoma, from boarding school, she expected to find it just as she left it. Christmas hasn’t changed much in her sixteen years. But instead she returns to find that her best friend is dating her ex-boyfriend, her parents have separated, and her archnemesis got a job working at her grandmother’s inn. And she certainly didn’t expect to find the boy she may or may not have tricked into believing that Christmas was an idyllic holiday paradise on her grandmother’s doorstep. It’s up to Finley to make sure he gets the Christmas he was promised. This is Finley’s Christmas. It’s about home and family and friends and finding her place, and along the way she also finds the best Christmas present of all: love.

Thank you to Penguin Random House and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review So, This is Christmas by Tracy Andreen. I have given this book four out of five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was such a fun, wintery rom-com which was perfect to enjoy delving into around the cold, cosy evenings. It was light and fluffy with some serious and important undertones as well.

I absolutely loved following Finley Brown and Arthur Chakrabarti Watercress in this novel. Finley Brown; a very smart sixteen-year-old girl who lives in a small town called Christmas in Oklahoma who is currently residing at a prestigious boarding school called Barrington Academy in Connecticut. Arthur Chakrabarti Watercress; charming, British classmate at Barrington Academy who decides to go to Christmas, Oklahoma with his aunt for the Christmas period. Everything gradually starts to take a dive as we learn that Finley Brown hacked into her town, Christmas’ website and changed it to make it look like a very appealing place to visit especially over the Christmas period.. this is when Arthur becomes invested to experience an incredibly, magical Christmas with his aunt. Little did he know, Finley had made a lot of the information up on the website and it’s time for her to face the music unless a Christmas miracle can happen…

Reading this book felt so magical and like a Christmas hug, it had a Hallmark stamp of approval feel to it and I could definitely imagine it being a movie! I loved Andreen’s writing and hope to read more of her books in the near future.
